likewise, i just finished my Ethical Hacking training at COMAT and currently taking Specialist Diploma in InfoSec at TP. ?ÿI am very keen to work as PenTester since i come from a technical background being a senior software developer.

Hope anyone can help me out!

Thanks!

hi paul,

have dropped resume to ST Electronics last week for their CSAT programme.. could be long shot but since it's coming to the year-end, response could be slow (i hope :D)

based on my knowledge, cyber security seems to be split into 4 categories, IT Audit, VA/PT, Forensics and SOC. ?ÿSOC looks tough one for me as it's shift work... Family man so family time is important to me too. Audit, will take time before i can go for that so leaves me with PT and Forensic Investigation... So far, i like PT maybe due to my technical background and during my own self-study and training, it's the closest to my background and find it very interesting to me...

haven't taken CEH yet because i need to study and going for annual leave?ÿtoo starting next week...

thanks for sharing, Philip. yes agree that SOC is kinda tough unless u r young and single. PT is good and one thing is it's very technical, and if u confident enough, it's actually a good track. Many security companies will definitely welcome u. CEH is one good course that u must pursue, on top of other certs like CISA, CISSP.
