Oh WAF, that's the one! So if I have a separate WAF on its own, it can do the same right?

Yes. But it is more expensive. An example of a WAF is Imperva. Their models go by bandwidth. Time has to be invested to put the WAF in learning mode. Finetuning is required before putting to production. Companies will usually conduct PoCs on UAT environments first.

Maybe we should follow govt, cut out the Internet. ?ÿAllow user to surf net on a separate computer. It could be a viable option.

Which security site do you visit to verify the reputation of a suspicious URL? So far, I've tried the following & do help to add to the list:
