Topic-icon Should android platform owners and apps developers responsible?

I think should hold them responsible since they are the ones who know what goes on behind the codes. But there should be a proper SDLC done also.

Yes i totally agreed and hope developers apply proper SDLC but that will be easier said than done.

Agreed on the point of applying proper SDLC process and this has to be enforced right from the beginning. There must be a maker/checker role and QA must come into play to ensure all sanity checks are done on the codes. Nothing is perfect but if we introduce sound controls at least it can act as deterrent.
