Hello there

I graduated 2 years ago with a Mechanical Engineering Degree. Just wondering if anybody here is able to give some advise if it would be viable for a non-IT person to pursue in the area of CyberSecurity. And if one were to recommend further studies, would a Specialist Diploma in one of the Cybersecurity field offered by the local Polytechnics be sufficient to get one step into this field.

In addition, under the Skillsfuture Framework by the Government there are Training programs led by Companies. What are your opinions of these?

Hi! New year new beginning isn't it. :)

I think SGCyberSecurity.com does have an article, you can read up : www.sgcybersecurity.com/securityarticle/...-career-in-singapore

During your degree in mechanical engineering, did you do any programming? It will be helpful is you do have some programming knowledge. But if u would love to cross over to cybersecurity, there's many ways about it. But may i know why u wanna cross over? :)
