We should not penalize govt for this approach and i think we all should learn from it.

chill guys and gals. it's not as though we are cutting internet for the entire singapore! as security threats remain the sore point for government, i guess there's little or no choice that they r taking such stance. let's support them!!

i still think there's really no need to cut off like this. it will only bring about more inconvenience. we are not talking about any small businesses but impacting the thousands of govt employees here. haiz.

definitely whole world watching, some might laugh their shoes out but let's see if we will have the last laugh. with internet segregation, it sure block off unwanted vulnerabilities in many areas but hackers may think of other ways. let's keep fingers crossed.

it is interesting to see the different views on where this will go. Personally i think the way the media has worded it gave a negative connotation to the whole idea of what the govt is trying to achieve. Besides, many ministers have mentioned the way moving forward and how it may not be what the headlines has mentioned. Many other countries and organisations will be watching and learning from this and as Lilian as put it quite aptly, lets not penalise the govt for this approach but we all should learn from it.

lots of netizens are saying negative things about it. but i think this is a considered decision, and i guess there's not much choice or solutions out there. until we have a solution then i guess they will revert back.
