Security+ certification

Hi Ronnie,

This is not expert opinion..just my thoughts...yes. Security helps for sure. CISA, CISSP etc. because it is foundation course/exam.

For CISA, no need of Security . I do not know full details CISA exam syllabus, testing method, exam fee, how long exam,?ÿ etc.

 

Hey guys, I just passed my Security exam!! But how do I get the certificate to be delivered to my home address?

Hi Moomoo77, Glad to know...Congratulations! ?ÿIf every thing ?ÿis fine, you will receive a paper based Cert to home address. It may days around 25 days.

1) First thing, ?ÿyou have login to your account on Comptia and ?ÿto give correct ?ÿpostal address on confirm your address, NAME ?ÿetc.

2 ) There is 2 ?ÿlogins will prompted when click ?ÿMy account ?ÿon Comptia website. ?ÿPlease choose the Certification site.(if remember correctly)

3) Believe you already have ?ÿComptia ID or registered email ?ÿand Password to verify the details (as mentioned in step 1).. You can download Digital version of your cert, Security logo (for your CV or Linkedin page)

Hi Chandra, thanks for the info. Yes I have provided my address but waited a month already still never receive.

Another question is the cert got expiry? Cos it states it will end 2020. How come?

Waited for month? Hope you should with next 2 weeks. Just remember I too wait more than a month. guess close to 2 month.

yes, Correct...it is valid only for 3 years. ?ÿWe can attend some ?ÿComptia training /seminars (free) to get some points..to maintain the Security cert.

okay, will wait a while longer. but find it weird why it take so long to deliver a snail mail.

so in a way i must go for these training under Comptia to maintain my Security cert?
