Cyber Security Job

Hello all,

I graduated from my degree in computer science and cyber forensics. Also, I have acquired CEH course recently.

I would like to find out what are the available cyber security jobs (that hire fresh entry candidate) in the market?

I have run through job searching site like job street and most of them require someone who has at least 3 to 5 years experience.

I am currently looking at CSIT or DSO. What do you all think?

Hmm, have u tot of what u want to achieve in cyber-security career? Cos if u like doing technical stuff like pen test and vulnerability assessment then it's a different track.

U can try out the big 4 audit firms as they accept fresh grads like u. Or if u want private companies, can try Singtel, Quann, PCS Security, PulseSecure, etc...

U came at the right time when govt want more cyber security folks.

Yup. I like doing technical stuff.

Ok, I will look out for any career opportunities from the mentioned companies.

Have u considered CSA or GovTech?

I have tried applying CSA or GovTech. But sad to say, none of them get back to me.

But sad to say, none of them get back to me.

So far, CSIT is the furthest I have progressed.

Done with all the tests and interview, left with the clearance.

I wonder how long it takes them to clear.

What is the pre-requirement of?ÿa mid career switcher to join cyber security industry? I have no experience in this area.

Before join in, as you all know?ÿwe need to register a diploma course or short course from local institute or private institute. Unfortunately, the basic pre-requirement is having a degree in computer or engineering with or working experience in cyber security for at least 5 years.

Finally, I registered to attend CISSP at NTUC Learning Hub. Would it be helpful after I?ÿpass the CISSP exam?
