Eh, then no value leh. haha. But actually come to think of it, it's really quite risky cos i won't know how people can recover back files which has already been deleted. Maybe I shouldn't sell at all. Sigh..

Unless u can find those 7-pass erase software to totally wipe clean the hard disk. I remembered seeing a storage engineer using their proprietary one to erase the data in 7 passes in our storage box at the end of a storage tech refresh project.

Hey, you can try Darik's Boot And Nuke, pretty reliable and safe. End of the day, its all about security, there's no end to it. So just make use of some trusted softwares to erase them securely will do.

Degaussing is the only safe method to remove data from HD. Most companies usually go one step further and pair their data erasure methods with crushing. Once data is wiped, organizations can remove or destroy the platter on a hard drive to ensure complete certainty the information is unattainable.
