they have several teams, but generally you will be assigned to do auditing for companies. So you will learn some techniques and skills in auditing systems, applications, network, etc... Xiong part comes when your auditees disagree with your findings, etc..

Then you will need to write audit report, documentation is part of the auditing process so prepare to churn out tons of reports. :)

I have 15 years experience as a network/systems administrator. Did almost everything in office from network, proxy, vmware, wirless security etc. I am kinda of sian of doing network adminstrator job liao. I can solve most of the problems myself because I am in a one man show environment without much support from vendors.

I have business computing diploma, microsoft certs, comptia a , network , security , VCP5.

Currently taking a specialist dip in security at SP. I want to change from systems admin to a security job. Got chance or not? If so, what type of security certs should I have?

I saw KPMG hiring security consulting jobs recently that do not need to have 100% experience in IT security. They stated network/systems admin with large amount of experience are welcome also.

Thanks everyone.
